NEXT RACE 20 MAY 2012

The ever popular Wheathampstead 10K race will be taking place on Sunday May 20th 2012, starting in Sheepcote Lane at 11 am ending up on the Marford Playing Fields. This annual event has become a favourite amongst local runners and even sees competitors from much further afield coming to the village, encouraged by reports of a run with a local feel that takes in some beautiful countryside.

The 2K Family Fun Run starts earlier at 10 am from the Marford Playing Fields. This is an off road, circular run on good footpaths. It is ideal for families and for a pre-10K warm up, suitable for both runners and walkers of ALL ages.

This year's race is approaching quickly and it is now open for entries. To enter by post download your entry form here or enter online now by following this link to Runnersworld.

Looking forward to seeing you at the race!

10k RACE
A challenging off-road course, popular with all standards of runner because of its outstanding scenery and friendly village setting. Great fun in any weather so expect to dirty those new trainers on this rural gem of a route. Unfortunately the course is unsuitable for wheelchairs.

There are 800 spaces available on the race, which has been over subscribed for the last two years. Book early to avoid disappointment!

2k FAMILY FUN RUN
A scenic off road route for all the family, register in advance or on the day.
